ID: QZP40_273369_087a DESCRIPTION: John Clerk of Eldin produced a series of etchings in the early 1770s which included this view of Inverness Castle. It is known that the castle was a ruin at that time and so Clerk must have copied this from an existing drawing. The drawing is taken from 'Old Inverness' by Pierre Delavault (1903).
