ID:PAN_26_76DESCRIPTION:A car and a double wagon of hay have met in snowy conditions on the Ord of Caithness. Two men with shovels can be seen and the driver of the car is now trying to get past the hay wagon. The car's registration number is MGB 96 and that of the hay wagon is DUS 362.
The Ord is a formidable pass between Caithness and Sutherland. The name 'Ord' comes either from the Gaelic 'ard' or from the Icelandic 'urd', both of which signify a steep hill or eminence.
