HR 57 was a member of the Highland Railway's 'Clan' class of 4-6-0 passenger locomotive. It was designed by Christopher Cumming and built by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. at Newcastle in 1921. After the grouping it became LMS 14769 and continued in service until being withdrawn in October 1943.
