ID:QZP40_222_P059DESCRIPTION:The Baron's Cairn stands in a hollow on the Moss of Achnacree, near Loch Etive in Argyll and Bute. It measures 19.2 metres from north to south, 18.3 metres across and is 2.3 metres high. It was excavated between 1870 and 1872 by R A Smith. He discovered that the cairn was not chambered and it may still contain undisturbed burials.
