ID:QZP40_287_P186DESCRIPTION:Johnnie Moozie, or John Henderson, also had a number of other nicknames including 'Glossey', 'Starney', 'Buckteeth' and 'Rotten Legs'. He was an odd character from Caithness but he held a number of jobs around the community. He was a church officer and bellman, gravedigger, town crier, officer of the court, a door keeper at public meetings and entertainment, a messenger and was described as a 'generally useful person'.
He was a shrewd and witty man although he lacked a formal education. He was honest and trustworthy and Thurso bankers often sent him to Inverness with large sums of money.
