ID:QZP40_349_P151DESCRIPTION:Lochearnhead is situated at the head of Loch Earn in Perthshire. Today it is a centre for fishing and water sports. One hundred years ago the railway was introduced to the area creating a boom in tourism and hotel construction. The line closed in the middle of the 20th century.
To the east of Lochearnhead lies Edinample Castle, built in the 17th century by Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy. To the south lies Ben Vorlich, (985 metres).
