ID:QZP40_351_P105DESCRIPTION:This brooch belonged to Campbell of Glen Lyon. It was made in silver with a bar across it. One side was covered in pearls and rough gems while the other had the names of the three Wise Men, Caspar, Melchoir and Baltazar, on it. The names were often said to give protection and the brooch was probably a consecrated brooch worn as an amulet as well as for decoration.
