ID:QZP40_2471_P102DESCRIPTION:These three bronze pieces were found near Armadale Castle on Skye. The bronze, leaf-shaped, sword was 22½ inches long. Holes through it can be seen on the left of the drawing where a wood or bone handle could be attached.
The spear head was one of two identical ones found. Neither was attached to a handle and both were almost 8 inches long.
The Pin of Bronze was about 10 inches long and ended in a cup-shaped head. It is unlikely that this would have been a weapon. It is more likely a hair pin or fastening pin despite its sharpness making it quite dangerous to wear.
