ID:QZP40_CARD_1214DESCRIPTION:The Pump Room in the village of Strathpeffer. A large arcaded glass portico runs round the stone building and the square clock tower can be seen between the trees. A stationary carriage stands outside the building and two horses in harness can be seen on the right of the picture. The card was sent in August 1914, just as World War 1 broke out. The correspondent writes, "The season is over with this war."
