ID:QZP40_CARD_1221DESCRIPTION:The village of Strathpeffer with the Highland Hotel in the upper left of the picture. The hotel was built by the Highland Railway Company to its standard design in 1911 and overlooked the main Pump Room in the centre of the village. The pinnacled tower of the Pump Room can be seen peeping out above a tree. The Strathpeffer Pavilion lies across the road from it in the lower left of the photo.
