ID:QZP99_94052_10_10DESCRIPTION:This photograph was taken from a cottage in Inverlochy looking towards Ben Lui. Inverlochy is a small settlement in Glen Lochay about two miles from Dalmally. Ben Lui rises above Glen Lochay to a height of 3707ft (1130m). Its name comes from the Gaelic for 'hill of the calf'.
This image comes from a collection gifted to Edinburgh Central Library by Dr Isabel F. Grant. The collection includes photographs taken by a number of different photographers.
The photograph was registered with the publisher, Valentine, in 1881 but may have been taken earlier.
