ID:ULMPH_2000_0295DESCRIPTION:A group of seven young ladies entitled in the original photo as Curriehill Staff. Whether or not it is the Curriehill near Edinburgh is uncertain. Their employer was a Mr Lawson whose brother Captain Lawson owned for many years the Inverpolly Estate near Achiltibuie. Two of the ladies are identified as Maggie Jane Macleod sitting in front of the group and beside the tree is Mary Stewart. Mary came from Badenscallie Achiltibuie and was the cook. Maggie Macleod belonged to Dornie Achiltibuie.
