Pre-National Health Service hospitals were dependent on donations and public fund-raising like this to be able to provide medical services to children. Pictured are Esther Ross, Cathy Mackenzie and Hazel Mackay in the pram. They are outside the Free Presbyterian Church in Market Street, Ullapool.
