Clach finished the season on 39 points, with a record of Played 26, Won 18, Drawn 3, Lost 5. Roddy's career began with Clachnacuddin's Second XI in 1936. Tottenham Hotspur signed him in 1939 but his time in London was curtailed by World War II. After the war, he re-signed for Clach and remained with them until hanging up his boots at the end of the 1955-56 season.
